How to play TriPeaks Solitaire

Use a short break to learn the rhythm of TriPeaks Solitaire. Remove all three peaks from the tableau. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls. Use the opening round to become familiar with the layout. Use the example below to understand a decision.

Three-peak covered layout with a single-pass draw stock. Free solo play, no wagering.

A careful first round

Before your first action, say what you are trying to achieve. Then compare the result with the goal. Keep the objective visible.

Your goal

Remove all three peaks from the tableau. Use the instructions to see which actions move you towards it. Start with a deliberate move.

Step by step

  1. Take an exposed card one rank above or below the waste top. Ace and king connect in this edition.
  2. Click an exposed card or eligible pair to remove it.
  3. Draw when useful.
  4. Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.

Controls

Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. On a smaller screen, keep the active part of the board within view. Check any mode label before starting.

A useful example

Waste 7 accepts exposed 6 or 8. Use the example as a guide rather than a substitute for reading your board. Read the matching step again.

Watch out for this

Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. Compare the situation with the worked example. When a decision goes wrong, compare it with the common mistake described below. Start again only when you intend to leave the current round.
